SMART Goals
Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound. Individual by nature — less a framework than a filter you run your own goal through before committing time to it, and a vague intention ("get better at this") turns into something you can actually plan around and know when you've hit.

Examples
- "Save 15% of my paycheck each week for the next 8 months so I have a deposit for a new car."
- "Follow a weekly training plan so I can complete a half marathon in 6 months."
- "Study 4 hours per week on Fridays so I can pass my AWS Certification exam in 3 months."
For the org/team-scale version of goal-setting — Objectives & Key Results, cascaded down to the individual — see OKRs under Organization.
