The framework behind this site

Plan · Do · Reflect

Most advice gives you more to do. This gives you a way to get better at doing it: a simple, repeating cycle that turns raw experience into real progress.

Start with Reflection →

Why it matters

Experience alone doesn't make you better. You can spend ten years doing the same one year of work if you never stop to look at it. Researchers who study workplace learning keep finding the same thing: people who pause to think about what they just did outperform people who just keep doing. Reflection is what turns effort into growth. It's the difference between racking up hours and racking up wisdom.

What it is

Plan-Do-Reflect works as a flywheel, not a checklist: three moves that feed each other in a loop.

  • Plan: decide what you're aiming for, and why, before you start.
  • Do: do the actual work, on purpose, not on autopilot.
  • Reflect: stop and ask what happened, what worked, and what to change.

Each turn makes the next one easier. Small, consistent rotations build momentum.

When to use it

Use it daily in a two-minute check-in, weekly for a fuller review, or after any big moment: a launch, a hard conversation, a promotion, a setback. No special occasion needed. Start with whatever you're doing right now.

Whether it's a paper journal, an Obsidian vault, or an agent with skills, use whatever makes showing up easier.
